Resilience Specialist

As a native New Yorker and an Ivy League-trained therapist with over four decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and communities to build resilience and hope after personal crisis. My work has spanned schools, hospitals, private practice, and nonprofit spaces. In addition, I am currenlty working with staff of various humanitarian organizations around the world, providing support as they face huge challaneges in their work. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an adjunct professor at Columbia University, where I mentor graduate students and train clinical supervisors.

My practice is deeply informed by a social justice lens and a collaborative, client-centered approach. I believe therapy is a space to explore your inner world, build resilience, and develop new ways of relating to old patterns. Healing happens through meaningful connection, deeper understanding, and a willingness to see things in new ways.

My Philosophy

With a collaborative, strength-based approach rooted in empathy and adaptability, we will work together to understand why you’re seeking therapy and what you hope to find. I don't come with a prescription—I come with curiosity and care.

Together, we explore what’s brought you here, what has shaped you, and how you want to move forward. Whether you're facing a crisis, navigating conflict, or simply trying to understand yourself more deeply, I see therapy as an interactive, participatory process grounded in trust and mutual respect.

My work is informed by decades of experience and a social justice lens, always centered on helping you develop resilience and build a new relationship with the challenges in your life.
